Default can any one tell me ?

Hello
We've had several clients come in and want a very cheap price, and we have to let them know that what we do takes alot of work and is a very tedious process in many cases. We still offer great pricing, but when it comes to data recovery, you never can tell.

Data recovery is never going to be cheap. If a company offers a cheap service then how can they justify it? CLEAN LAB? no... box and air filter... EXPERIENCE? no... EXPERT TECHNICIANS... NO! it is widely known that the majority of companies within the Uk DO NOT have EXPERT TECHNICIANS... they work from their homes or small offices.

They quote LOW and then come back with a HIGH PRICE... or... they quote LOW and simply CANNOT do recoveries, they wait for those drives that no real faults and simply charge for nothing.

ONTRACK are the worlds largest recovery company, they receive more drives than ANYONE!!! and yet they charge from 400 to 1200.

If ppl are stupid and go for cheap then let them be suckered in. They will always come back.

Thats quite a rant Andy.

If you have evidence of companies claiming that they have clean rooms and they dont, let the world know here.

I am not a marketing expert, but stating that people are studid isnt too smart a move either. I dont necessarily think that people are stupid, I just think that they are less informed that we are, (but we are in the industry and should know all this).

Regards,

Simon
